WHAT
WE REVIEW:
JERR EXCLUSIVELY reviews books deemed as Erotic Romance. JERR defines as Erotic
Romance books that are, first and foremost, a romance, with the main love
story between the main characters taking center stage. An HEA is optional,
but the book has to end on an uplifting or at least positive note.
All love scenes have to be highly graphic in a contemporary sense with use of
extremely explicit and blunt terms while still remaining sensual. Graphic
language not found in mainstream romance must be there.
All stories should have a minimum length of 11,000 words. If an anthology, all the stories in the
anthology have to meet this minimum length requirement.
WHAT WE DO NOT REVIEW:
We do not review the following:
- Erotica
- Erotic chick lit
- Books that we have
already reviewed, even if it is re-edited for publication in another
publishing house. (If you have a book that was previously reviewed and
wish to update the purchasing information, please notify our Webmistress
providing the accurate new information. A note will be added at the end
of the review indicating that the review refers to the original version
of the book.
We only accept books from publishers who have been in
business for 18 months or more, though we continue to take individual
author submissions.
JERR does not provide advance reviews. All ARCs received and accepted are
placed in the queue like any other books. Once the review is available for
publication, it is published in the newsletter as are all other reviews.
We prefer to get books in pdf or html format but we do accept other formats
as well.
Send all queries or book submissions for review to Mireya.

JERR has strict guidelines on who we accept as reviewers. Please see the Review for
US page for details.
If any book receives a bad review, we look for a second opinion.
The extremely high demand for reviews of erotic romance force us to follow
these guidelines strictly. There will be no exceptions. Additionally, please
bear in mind that our accepting a book for review does not provide an
automatic guarantee that the book will be picked for review, though we do our
best to provide reviews of every book we accept. Additionally, JERR does not
provide a guarantee as to date of publication for any reviews. All the books
received and accepted are placed in a queue on a first come-first served
basis.
